Your stories, in German
- The Creepypasta-Wiki is the largest German creepypasta archive – non-profit, run by fans.
- We translate English horror stories only with the author’s permission.
- Every translation credits you and links to your original.
How it works
- Answer the short form below – yes or no.
- You get a code. Send it to u/CreepypastaWikiDE on Reddit (or put it in your profile) – that’s how we know it’s really you.
- We confirm, and our translators know where you stand.
What you allow with a “yes”
We keep it simple: one permission, four things. It’s free, it’s not exclusive, and you can withdraw it at any time.
What we promise
- Credit, every time: your name as the original author and a link to your original story – under every translation and in every narration.
- Your donation link (Patreon, Ko-fi …) under every translation, if you like.
- Faithful translations: no shortened versions, no rewritten endings.
- You keep all rights. The permission is free and non-exclusive – publish your stories wherever you want.
- You decide what’s included: all your free stories or only the ones you list. Books and paid content only if you say so.
- You can change your mind: one message to u/CreepypastaWikiDE is enough. No new translations after that; existing ones stay online with credit.
- Narrations credit you too: your name and a link to your original in the video description or show notes.
Your answer
It takes about a minute. Nothing is published until we’ve checked your code.
Questions
Do I lose any rights to my stories?
No. The permission is free of charge and non-exclusive. You keep all rights and can publish, sell or adapt your stories anywhere else.
Who are the narrators, and why can they earn money?
German horror narrators on YouTube and in podcasts read stories from our wiki. Many of their channels show ads – that’s why we ask for this part of the permission. They always credit you as the original author, name the translator and link to the story.
Does the Creepypasta-Wiki make money with my stories?
No. The Creepypasta-Wiki is a non-commercial fan project. Only narrators may earn money with their own videos – and only if you allow it.
What if I change my mind later?
Send a message to u/CreepypastaWikiDE. From then on, no new translations or narrations will be made. Translations and narrations that were made with your permission may stay online – narrations may keep earning money – always with credit to you.
Some of my stories are already translated on your wiki. What now?
If you’re happy with it, just answer “yes” – then everything is clear. If not, answer “no” and tell us in the form what you’d like us to do with the existing translations. We’ll get in touch.
I don’t use Reddit. Can I still answer?
Yes. Choose “Profile” in the form and put your code in a public profile or bio where you publish your stories – just until we’ve confirmed it, usually a few days.
What do you do with my data?
We store your answer to document your decision. Your author name, your profile links (including your Reddit profile), the stories you allow, your conditions and your donation link appear on our public author lists. Your email address is never shown publicly. Unconfirmed answers are deleted after 60 days.
