About Max Hollow

If you ask if that’s my real name.

It isn’t.

But it fits here better than the one I was given.

 

Hollow—because I write the spaces where things are missing. The gaps in memory. The pauses in a child’s breath. The silence after the door creaks open, but nothing steps through.

 

I don’t tell stories to scare you.

I tell them so you’ll never feel alone in the dark again.
